We started as a sewing unit for a Hangzhou trader, cutting and stitching white cotton basics. In 2016 a customer asked for underwear in a brown cotton fabric she had found at a trade fair, and we spent four months learning why it was so difficult: the yarn was short, the shade moved between lots, and nobody in the supply chain wanted to guarantee it. We kept at it because the finished garment did something white cotton could not — it got better with age.

Today roughly 70% of our output is colored cotton. We buy yarn from mills in Hunan and Xinjiang, knit in a partner facility 40 minutes away, and cut, sew, finish and pack in our own workshop. That short chain is why we can quote in a day and sample in a week.

The company

How we work

We are a small factory by Chinese standards, which is deliberate. Two lines means the owner sees every order, the sample room is ten metres from the cutting table, and a problem is fixed in an afternoon rather than a meeting cycle. It also means we say no to orders we cannot make well.

If you are sourcing colored cotton for the first time, start with a sample pack and a conversation rather than a purchase order. We would rather spend an hour explaining the fibre's limits than ship you a container you have to discount.

Certification and compliance

Our facility is audited to BSCI social standards. Fabric certifications are handled order by order: OCS and GOTS chain-of-custody through the spinning mill, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on finished fabric. We do not display certificates we do not hold for a specific lot — ask, and we will send the paperwork that matches your order.
